Commenting on blogs

Today I made my first blog comment.

Yes I may be a little bit insane having a blog and not commenting on the blogs I am following but on http://elanajohnson.blogspot.com/ she makes a good point about a blog being a way to create a relationship with the blog author.

One of the reasons I love to write and read blogs is to feel connected to the writing community. I realised my lack of commenting is a big hurdle in doing that. So, in the words of my friend Whisper "strap on your big girl panties and do it."

So I did. Yay to me.

Glad I'm not the only one learning the rules of the blogosphere. Elana's doing a great job helping us newbies out, isn't she?

And glad you got your big girl's on! (lol)

Three cheers for Lindsey! And hey, the QTforum is a great place to hang out! I met Elana there, as a matter of fact, about two years ago. :D (pssst...I know her in RL, and she totally is a star!)

Great to meet more starlets. I'm off to visit Jana's blog next.

I know how you feel - I didn't realize how important it was, either. But such a great way to connect and get support from other writers!
