Writing Is A Wonderland?

1) The best adventures start with curiosity. We always want to know the how, what and why:

2) So take a chance. Let yourself fall into the unknown:

3) And it will open up a whole world of adventure:

4) Sometimes you won't know which road to take:

5) But each step leads you to where you need to be. And a new adventure can begin:

How is your WIP/adventures in writing wonderland going?

LOVE this post!

My adventures are stalled for the moment. This week is for enjoying summer and reading tons of books. But I'll get back to the madness soon, I promise! :)

My adventures are just starting up again...I've been struggling with a new idea for a couple of weeks and finally found a starting point. It has been making me crazy!

My adventure is hoping to be finished in time for me to take a break next week when I head out to NYC for the RWA national conference. ;)

I'm heading into the final quarter of my wip and I'm definitely stalling- I don't want it to end and at the same time I want the ending to be perfect...not easy.

WIP adventure is slow and painful...but making progress! I love Alice in Wonderland and really ought to reread it as an adult, I have a feeling there's a lot of stuff I missed 25 years ago...

Fun post! I especially agree with that first one. A sense of curiosity is important, not just for us as writers, but for our readers. If we can make them wonder, make them want to know, we've got them hooked. That's why it's so important to begin the first chapter by giving the reader a solid question - something he wants to find out about in the following pages.
