A Question.

As you know I have no regular feature on my blog.

I'm pretty much a panster within all forms of writing. :)

But after my Bree Tanner post, I realised I enjoyed sharing the book with you and your thoughts on it. So I wondered if I should post my book thoughts more often?

I promise I won't spoil plots or ruin endings (cause I hate that myself. lol). I won't turn into a book reviewing blog because there are lots of awesome ones out there.

But I kind of like the idea of sharing books I enjoyed with you all.

And I have a lot of books.

So let me know what you think? Does it sound like a fun idea?

Happy Friday Everyone. :)

Sounds like a great idea! We're all book people here, and books are a language we understand. :) Besides, who doesn't want to hear about awesome books and add to the TBR pile? (of course, that pile can get pretty monstrous, but still!)

Lindsay, a couple of things:

I love your blog, it's one of the few I comment on every day.

I loved your thoughts on the book.

Having a regular feature does make blogging easier for me.

Otherwise it's up to you. I would enjoy reading your thoughts on more books but it's not required.

Today's guest blogger is Hilary Wagner!

Go for it, I'm always interested in people's response to books. Often times it's the one thing that gets me off my hiney to read something I'd been waffling on.

Do go for it!

I love reading people's opinions on books they've recently read, so I'm on board for the weekly reviews. Plus, I appreciate your no-spoiler policy! The blogosphere could use more of that.

Yeah, absolutely. I often base what's in my reading pile off of reviews I've read or recommendations from people. So I say yes. :)

Sounds good, but don't do it too often. I get frustrated when bloggers just keep reviewing books, and I usually don't read them. I want to know about THE BLOGGER! If you're going to do it regulary, I suggest you make sure you incorporate something personal into it. For example, how reading the book affected your writing, or inspired you to change something in your story, or or or, endless possibilities. But that's just MY opinion. I just love reading blogs about the bloggers themselves, because that's what makes me come back everyday to read them.

I think it's a great idea. I love to read what other people think of books. It really does affect what I buy and read. So I'd say go for it!

You should totally go for it! I love to read reviews from other writers; I've discovered so many favorites that way. And it's fun, too. :)

I think it's a great idea. With so many books out there to choose, it's always nice to have a recommendation.

I think it's a great idea. I've been meaning to start doing this myself (and I will, I will...one of these days!) Actually, I just got an idea by reading Talli Roland's blog to review the books I've won in blog contests, so I'm going to start with those. As soon as I figure out how to write a book review. :)

Lately I haven't had a ton of time to read, so I can live vicariously through you! :)

Thank you again for the prize package! I got it yesterday! Ty ty ty!

I think it's a great idea! I'm always on the lookout for new books, and this would be a way to know if they're worth the time and money.

I think you should do it, too. I would love to hear what you're reading and your opinions on it.

I also like The Alliterative Allomorph's idea (it's a few comments above mine ^^^) that you should incorporate how the work has influenced you.

So, write on!

Okay, Blogger has gone mad again. I thought I'd replied to everyones comments.

Bethany. True. I love my TBR pile growing. Even if it is getting HUGE. :)

Matthew. Aww. I'm glad you enjoyed my thoughts on the book and love my blog.

Vicki. Lol. I'm the same. Sometimes it takes a review from a blogger to get me to buy the thing. :)

Carole. Thanks for being in the cheering section. Hugs.

Christina. Glad you enjoyed the post. I've never wrote a review before. lol.

Mayowa. Aww, thanks.

Jaydee. Thanks. It was my first review. I'm appreciate your support. :)

Tahereh. Yay. I love reading them too. :)

Amparo. Thanks. I hate it when a review gives away a spoiler. I don't mind a teaser, a hint of whats to come, but not the whole thing. So my mind is made up. No spoilers. :)

Lisa. Me too. I love reading something a fellow blogger has loved.

Jessica. As I've already said (since blogger deleted my reply. grrr) thanks for the advice. I will make it personal.

Talli. Thanks. Everones support is amazing! I can add your book here next year. :)

Lydia. Thanks. I've got a lot of books on mt TBR pile from bloggers sites as well.

Jemi. Thank you. :)

Kathi. Me too. I love books. :)

Stina. "Bring it on!" haha. Challenge accepted. :)

Sandy. Thanks for the encouraging words. :)

Shannon. Haha. Okay, you can read vicariously through me. :)

Jana. I agree. I like to know my cash is going on a good book. :)

Vatche. Aww thanks. I'm gonna do what Jessica said too. :)
