Weekends And Happy Dances.

Have you ever had a surge of writing that you don't know where it came from? Well, this weekend that was me...except, in this case, I know why it happened -- the neighbour somewhere near my house playing drum & bass music till 4am Sunday morning!

I should have put on my ipod and tried to ignore it, but for some reason I fired up the laptop, opened the wip and started writing. So at least some good came from the lack of sleep. :)

Anyway, there is awesome happening around the blogosphere.

Check out the exciting announcement from WriteOnCon

Oh, and a huge thank you to everyone for supporting, visiting, commenting, and following us over at Operation Awesome. We've passed the 100 follower mark and, to celebrate, Amparo is posting a special announcement later today. So feel free to check it out if you have time.

Oh, and in more happy dance news Paranormalcy FINALLY arrived (about time Amazon, about time.)

So, how was your weekend? :)

Yay for PARANORMALCY!! No, I still haven't read it, but I'm super glad you finally have it. And that you could work on the WIP.

Already posted OA's special announcement :) Can you hear me squeeing all the way over there??

Way to make the best out of a bad situation. Any time you can get a good chunk of writing done is a great thing :)

I felt the same way this weekend. Got a lot of writing done, both on a project that I'm actively working on and another WiP that is waiting in line to be written. Seems like it was the weekend to work for us both :)

Weekends are crazier than weekdays around here. Now that all the kids are off to school, it's MY turn to get some writing done!

Good for you! Any time I find to write is valuable, whether it be at 4a.m., while I make the kids supper or hauling my laptop into the tub with me (which is NOT, I repeat, NOT a good idea, unless you want to replace the keyboard in your VERY expensive laptop).

P.S. Love all the great announcements coming out too!

Yay for Paranormalcy! I'm dying to know what you think of it! Isn't it great that we can make the most of our sleepless nights? Who else can say that?

Ha! Do we have the same neighbour? Mine was playing drum and bass all weekend too. But I wasn't writing!

Lots of good stuff happening around the blogosphere lately!

Oh good on you! Its a great feeling when you get that surge and before you know it...you're smiling at your word count and feeling good about it! ;)

Amazon were busy - I also took delivery a book I've been hankering after for sometime.

I write best late at night when everyone else in the house is sleeping. Of course I can only keep that up for so long before I crash from lack of sleep...

Sorry for your lack of sleep but glad you found a way to put the night to productive use.
