It's Good Friday, the weather is gorgeous, and I'm off to watch the In the Night Garden Live show with my 2 y/o goddaughter. She's also going to meet Upsy Daisy afterwards (even though it occurs to me I'm showing way too much knowledge of the characters, Upsy Daisy is the one on the far right).
In the Night Garden is described as a 'modern televisual interpretation of a nursery rhyme picture book. It's about a magical place that exists between waking and sleeping in a child's imagination. Inhabited by toy characters that care for each other and have fun together.'
For anyone who hasn't seen the show, I've included a clip.

Fun fact: This BBC show is made by the same people who brought the Teletubbies into the world!
Now I'm off to see Igglepiggle lose his blanket. What are you doing today?

My little sister is two (yep, huge age gap) but she's more of a Peppa Pig girl.
Weirdest kids show on tv. Although one of Derek Jacobi's finest performances.
Couldn't think of anything better than watching him find his blanket. My morning so far has been coffee and hot cross buns with husband, the sun is shining we are able to have doors and windows open. Wonderful. Hope he finds the blanket... :0)
Well, I have to go exercise then go food shopping then get ready for my kiddo's sleepover she's having tonight.
I'd rather be in bed watching toddler shows. :)
Oh my goodness, LOL!
Have a great weekend!!
Never even heard of this one!
And I'm editing this weekend. Still.
I miss the days of those shows. My kids are into older stuff now (but not too hold). Mostly Pixar and Disney movies.
I'm finishing off my notes for a book I beta read. Maybe I'll get into some editing. Maybe.
hi miss lindsay! yikes! losing your blanket is soooo not good. i hope it gets found. have a happy and fun weekend!
...hugs from lenny
I THOUGHT they strangely resembed the Teletubbies! Have a good weekend!
It's a holiday here for me so I'm relaxing - and being thankful my kids are too old for those kinds of shows ;)
I'm sure my kids would watch that. Right now they spend part of their TV time watching iCarly and the other part of the time watching Max and Ruby.
I thought the Teletubbies were proff that there really are demons...
And that purple dinosaur was their evil master!
