Squeeee...

I have an addiction I need to share...I'm a bookaholic.

I promise myself I'll stop. I'll ignore the seductive pull of the unopened tomes calling my name and the delicious thrill of opening the cover for the first time. I walk amongst the shelves and tell myself I'll just look. I don't need another book. I don't.

And then I see the words I dread: 3 for 2.

Arghhhhhh.

So, as I write this I am and now the owner of the the first three books in the Wicked Lovely series by Melissa Marr.

And my copy of The Dead-Tossed Waves by Carrie Ryan arrived today.

Oh well. At least I can say it is research on how to improve my YA fiction.

Good thing I'm getting another bookcase tomorrow :)

Happy Saturday.

I'm also a bookaholic. But seriously, how could you walk away empty-handed with a deal like that?

Enjoy your new books!

Take care, my husband informed me that the floor was collapsing, due to the weight of my books, thankfully it was only the skirting board coming away from the wall..
Hugs...

Jaydee. So glad I'm not alone in my addiction:) Plus you are so right, 3 for 2 is too good a deal to miss.

Thanks Matthew. I'm really looking forward to them. I'm like a kid at Christmas when I get a new book:)

I loved Wicked Lovely. I have another Marr book in my TBR pile. I have yet to read Carrie Ryan, but she's on my wish list.

I know what you mean about the bookshelf. I'm in desperate need of another one.

I loved the Wicked Lovely series (especially the first one). Can't wait for book four.

I know! They always get me with that three for two deal. I just can't help myself.

Happy reading! :)

Hey, Lindsay! I'm always buying more books, too - I do it weekly! But we can't be writers if we're not readers. As Erasmus said, "When I get a little money I buy books; and if any is left I buy food and clothes." (And soon you'll have another book to read. Has the Chris Baty book arrived yet??)

Oh I am SO with you. Total bookaholic here. I sort of made a deal with myself that I won't buy new books unless I have a gift card and/or coupon. And I've learned that the library is my friend. :)

Hey Medeia. IMO Carrie Ryan's book is great. Def. keep it on your TBR list. Thanks for following too:)

Hi Stina. I'm looking forward to the Wicked Lovely books, especially since everyone keeps raving about them. Better hurry up to catch up before the fourth comes out. Thanks for following:)

Thanks Talli. Glad I'm not on my own with the weakness to offers. lol.

Hi Zoe. Love the quote:) The book hasn't arrived yet but it has been Easter so the post is slow. But I will let you know when ut gets here:)

Hey Kristin. Great idea about the library. Not been for a while:( I ask for book tokens for birthdays and Christmas too:)
