Writers' Block.

Writing time begins with the best intentions.

Our tea/coffee/beverage of choice is beside us. The chocolate goodness is ready as a reward (writing a sentence counts as a reward right?). The computer has fired up and the word document is waiting. Hands hover over the keys...until we find the little word gremlins have stolen our prose.

Yup, we have writers' block.

I hereby prescribe the following to rid you of these blues. Enjoy.

P.S I first saw this video on Jon's Life and knew I had to share in the funny.

its interesting, perhaps there's a difference when 'block' is spelt 'blok'
'Writer's bloc' suggests a far more monolithic and political system.

When the block looms, just don't rush to meet it. Do something not related to writing

Too funny! I swear I get my best ideas when I'm right smack in the middle of something else.

The ultimate form of procrastination. Writing a song and creating a video for it. Too funny!

I love Jackson's videos. She's awesome!

LOL- great song- and soooo true. She's a really good singer too! Wow.

LOL. Great way to start the day. Not that I can related to that at all. Nope, not me.

Thanks for sharing!

If you find it on Jon's Life, you KNOW it's going to be funny! Thanks for sharing, Lindsay. ;-)

The chorus is stuck in my head.

Jackson Pearce can always go into pop singing if the writing thing doesn't work for her.

that was really cute. Ha ha! I feel better about my block!

MissV. Sorry. It's been stuck in my head too. :)

Ee Leen Lee. Great advice. I so something else too. Going with it is easier than fighting it.

Renae. I'm the same. Sometimes doing something else brings out the creative ideas from nowhere.

Stina. heehee. I wish my procrastination involved that creativity.

Rena. I agree. Jackson rocks with the videos.;)

CQG. Glad you liked it. Maybe singing could be her back-up career?

Shannon. Yeah, it's nice to have a bit of funny in a morning sometimes.

Shannon O'Donnell. So true.

Palindrome. Lol. That's what I thought too.

Medeia. I know, I had it in my head too. :)

Lydia. Yay, the video helps the block.:)

I can relate to what the song is expressing but no way I look as good as her. Song and video were great.
